How does booking work?

Find what you want and send a request with your dates or your time slot. You put your card in at that point, but it is held rather than charged — your bank may show it as a pending line — and nothing leaves your account.

The owner sees the request and approves or declines. Approving is the payment: the hold becomes the charge that instant and the booking is confirmed, so there is no Pay button to come back to and nothing to chase. If they decline, or never answer, the hold is released and you are charged nothing.

Some listings skip the asking altogether — the button says “Book now” rather than “Request to book” — and there the charge goes through on the spot.

When it's confirmed, the owner's WhatsApp number opens up to you and you can sort out arrival, keys and the rest between yourselves.

Everything said through the site stays on your booking page — dates, messages, what was promised — so both of you can point at the same record later.

After the stay ends you can leave a review. One per booking, and only from someone who actually booked.
