Could my booking clash with something booked elsewhere?

Some owners here also take bookings somewhere else — a school with its own scheduling software, a house also listed on Airbnb. Where they have connected that calendar to us, we read it about every two hours and block whatever is taken there.

Between one read and the next there is a gap, and it is the same gap on every site that does this: nobody reads a rival calendar the instant it changes. So it is possible, though uncommon, to book a slot here that was taken on the other platform a few minutes earlier.

If it happens, the owner will tell you, and the money comes back from them — they hold it, not us, so they can refund you in full without waiting on anything from our side. Tell us as well if you would like us to help sort it out.

It only affects owners who take bookings in two places at once. Most here do not.
