Could my booking clash with something booked elsewhere?

Some owners here also take bookings somewhere else — a school with its own scheduling software, a house also listed on Airbnb. Where they have connected that calendar to us, we read it about every two hours and block whatever is taken there.

Between one read and the next there is a gap. So it is possible, though uncommon, to book a slot here that was taken on the other platform a few minutes earlier.

If it happens, the owner will tell you, and any refund comes from them — they can refund you in full from their booking page. Tell us as well if you would like us to help sort it out.

It only affects owners who take bookings in two places at once. Most here do not.
