Kite & Wing Academy
Nobody learns this alone. Every rider we know was shown something on a beach by someone who had no particular reason to show them, and passing that on is the whole of what we are doing here.
Aaron and Jo founded the Kite & Wing Academy in 2018, after more than eleven years teaching kiteboarding around the world. What we carried back from those years had less to do with technique than with the communities we found in each place — riders who made room for whoever turned up wanting to learn.
So the Academy is simply where we hand that on: the knowledge and the guidance our own kiteboarding friends gave us, in the place we chose to stop travelling and stay.
